Page 1 of 2Relaunch juergenbauer.net & Recommendation for Exhibition Opening “vulnerable”
About two weeks before the exhibition opening of his installation “vulnerable” takes place at Vienna’s MAK at 18 March 2014, we’ve relaunched the website of artist, graphics designer and musician Jürgen Bauer.
Opening & Website Launch Lunzers Maß-Greißlerei
On upcoming Saturday, 25 January will be the opening of a shop, that takes pioneer role in Vienna: Lunzers Maß-Greißlerei.
Andrea Lunzer, the owner, puts the focus on avoidance of single-use packaging. Moreover all offered products are organic and regional. The products are offered without or when necessary with environmentally compatible packaging.
On this occasion the new website will be launched. Seite Zwei – Bureau für Design was responsible for graphics design, I’ve been consulting on technical questions and have developed the site.
Update 2014-03-21
On 19 March Lunzers Maß-Greißlerei has been announced as one of the four award-winners of Wiener Umweltpreises 2014 (Viennese Environment Award). Congratulations!
Twitter installation: Clouds for Bad Bankers
(developed by Transforming Freedom)
digiom writes:
The scope of artistic interventions that become possible with Twitter is probably immeasurable. At Transforming Freedom, we’re trying to get our fingers dirty as well and have set up a very, very low tech installation at the Quarter for Digital Culture (QDK) that also involves Twitter.
But it also involves human technology, or rather, the human-as-technology, which is one of the least reliable technological systems available to date. Think Seveso, think Tchernobyl, think the current economic crisis, of course (the upside of this miserable technology that is mankind: the perfect simulation of our flaw-ridden world is impossible, we will therefore never be fed into the matrix, as the matrix wouldn’t be nor progess without us).
Our installation, the working title of which I hereby proclaim as “Clouds for Bad Bankers”, is thus not only based on the magic that is the Twitter API in conjunction with hashtags, it also requires that we, the enablers at Transforming Freedom, regularly jump into action, that we examine our dedication to the project. It is, however, already apparent that we will fail miserably.
Michael Jantzen –
Launch of website featuring innovative interface
moodley brand identity hired me for technical conception and implementation of new website for Michael Jantzen. The work of artist and designer Jantzen is well-known internationally and involves architecture, design and fine arts.
The corporate identity developed by moodley is continued seamlessly in the website’s interface, which features an innovative front-end approach while still offering ease-of-use on editor’s side based on WordPress. Noteworthiness are the integrated media asset management, implementation of automatically generated images with custom web fonts and screen-reader/search engine fallback or the presentation of project detail pages in chrome-less windows.
Update 2010-11
The corporate identity (including the website) achieved a honorary mention at Josef Binder Award 2010 by Design Austria.
Update 2009-09
The corporate identity (including the website) achieved an ADC 2009 Mention.
